Job Responsibility/Function

The Deputy Commissioner will be the Chairperson of the District Sports Committee.
The District Sports Officer will be the Secretary of the District Sports Committee.
Invite and scrutinize the application of the annual grant-in-aid from sports associations of the district and submit the same to the Directorate General Sports Punjab,with the recommendations of the Deputy Commissioner/Chairperson, District Sports Committee.
Organized Annual Sports Calendar Youth Programs and other Sports Activities as per directions of Sports Department Punjab Lahore.
Talent was introduced at Provincial, National & International level.
Help and guide all the conduct of coaching/training programmes /tournaments.
Conduct youth tournaments to determine the potential and take measures to improve the quality of skills.
Formulate new progressive schemes for the promotion of sports and games at grass route level.
Maintain a record of talent hunting in particular, and other Athletes/women in general with appropriate evaluation of the capability to rise.
Ensure maintenance of proper records to include dimensioned and revenue documents of sports facilities.
Ensure proper maintenance of the sports facilities.

District Sports officer/ Secretary put up proposed event and expenditure before start the event to Worthy Chairman.
After Approval/Monitoring expenditure Worthy Chairman event will be started.
All expenditure, Bill Vouchers after event send to pass by District Account Office R.Y.Khan.

Receive funds/grant by the department, income of sports property, Income of Tournaments / Donation and local Govt. sports funds.
All funds utilize after approval to Worthy Chairman.
