kalThe ruler of Abu Dhabi Shiekh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nayhan has constructed Sheikh Zayed Library along with a Jamia Mosque at Khawaja Farid Government Post Graduate College. This library comprises a literary collection of languages including Arabic, Persian, English and Urdu. It has a collection of about 4,000 important books. Agriculture Training Institute Rahim Yar Khan established in 1961 also provides study facilities in Agriculture and its related disciplines from its Library books and manuscripts. Market Committee Rahim Yar Khan Library and Municipal Allama Iqbal Library provide study facilities to a large number of interested citizens. Pakistan National Centre was established at Rahim Yar Khan in February 1975 it can boast of a small but good collection on history and Pakistan Movement. The latest library established in Rahim Yar Khan is "Imtiaz Sahi Library" which was opened in 1980 in the annex of Jamia Mosque Canal Colony. It has a good collection of about 4,000 books. Some important private libraries also exist in Rahim Yar Khan District. The oldest one is Mubarak Urdu Library which was established in 1924 by Syed Mubarak Shah Jilani at Mohammad Abad. Chisti library is also one of the oldest libraries. Allama Iqbal library, E-library, Parvaiz Hassan Sadiq library and Public library in Sadiq abad are main libraries of the district.
